The Story of Our Dance Company

The Mark Keppel High School Dance Company is dedicated to providing exceptional dance instruction to students from Alhambra and Monterey Park. We focus on creating an enriching dance experience, supported by our dedicated non-profit organization. By offering affordable after-school classes, we make dance accessible to everyone.

Founded in response to the community’s need for quality dance education, the dance company originally began as a small pep team program to engage students enrolled at MKHS in the dance arts. There are very few options for dance instruction in our community. And over time, we have grown into a thriving dance arts program with extensive opportunities for all local youth.

We proudly serve a vibrant community of students, particularly those attending Mark Keppel High School and local elementary schools in the Alhambra Unified School District, ensuring we make a positive impact on their lives.
